I believe healing is most effective in a supportive, strengths-based environment. My work with clients comes from a nonjudgemental and empowerment-based approach, and my first priority will always be your sense of safety and connection. Whatever life experiences you are bringing to therapy and whatever is still to come, I am here to join you on your healing journey. You don’t have to do it alone.

In addition to working with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship difficulties, I have extensive experience in treating trauma as it presents throughout the lifespan. I am nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and have extensive training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which are all evidence-based trauma treatment models. I am also passionate about providing parenting support, as I have spent a large part of my career working with children, caregivers, and families. I take a positive parenting perspective, incorporating strategies such as positive reinforcement, praise, and emotional validation/communication.

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and I have a Master in Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Michigan. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about my training, experience, or treatment approach.
