To become a fully licensed social worker in Michigan, limited license social workers are required to complete 4,000 hours of clinical work over at least a 2-year period while under the supervision of an LMSW. The experience must be completed in a setting that includes work in the area of license designation- either clinical, macro, or both.
Clinical experience must be accumulated in at least 16 hours per week and not more than 40 hours per week. Supervision must be conducted for at least 4 hours per month with at least 2 of these hours being individual supervision, rather than a group format.
I provide weekly individual and group supervision services, which can be completed in an agreed-upon setting depending on supervisee needs and confidentiality. I have completed the NASW Core Supervision Certificate and have experience supervising LLMSWs and social work interns in various settings.
